1. From “Coil” to “Measurement”  

Traditional current transducers rely on heavy iron cores, limiting their size, frequency response, and ease of installation. The FRC series replaces the bulky core with a lightweight, flexible coil based on the Rogowski principle. It retains the high accuracy of a conventional current transformer while breaking through the constraints of size, bandwidth, and mounting. By pairing the coil with your own integrator or amplifier, you obtain a wide-range, highly linear output from ampere to hundreds of kiloamperes.

 High Linearity: ±0.1 % of reading from 10 % to 100 % of range.  

 Broad Bandwidth: Flat frequency response from 10 Hz to 10 MHz—perfect for harmonics, transients, and DC ripple.  

 Coreless Design: No saturation, no hysteresis loss, constant 90° phase shift—measurement remains pure.  

 Non-Intrusive: The coil draws no power and generates no heat; open-circuit operation is completely safe.  

 Flexible Installation: Six lengths and six inner diameters to choose from; a quick-lock bayonet fastener lets you wrap   the coil around large or awkwardly shaped conductors—even in tight spaces.
