This delivery is extraordinary. It represents our domestically produced Window Type Metering Current Transformer, which has truly entered the international high-end power market - this is definitely a significant breakthrough!
1. Project Background
Let me first talk to everyone about how this project came about. Trinidad and Tobago is a country located on the Caribbean coast, with a typical tropical marine climate that is hot and humid all year round. When the sea breeze blows, the air is filled with salty salt. This weather is too harsh for power equipment, requiring products to be particularly resistant to corrosion and to operate stably for a long time without falling off during critical moments.
It is precisely because the environment there is too special that the local power committee has set very strict technical standards when purchasing Window Type Metering Current Transformers. What's even more impressive is its overload capacity: it can withstand four times the excess current at a room temperature of 30 degrees Celsius; Even if the temperature reaches 55 degrees, it can still maintain almost three times the overload capacity, which is really impressive.
It is precisely with these hard power that our equipment can remain stable even when the power grid load changes high or low, providing the most solid guarantee for accurate measurement.

This RECT series transformer also has a particularly big advantage, which is that it can work anywhere without choosing a place. No matter it is installed indoors or outdoors, it is still as stable as Mount Tai. This feature is really easy to use in practice.

Firstly, the materials used are particularly low. The shell is made of a particularly sturdy high-strength engineering plastic, and all the metal parts inside are made of corrosion-resistant materials. The entire equipment has reached the international C4 level anti-corrosion standard, and the foundation is particularly reliable.
Secondly, the sealing performance is done very well. Its protection level is IP54, making it easy to deal with ordinary dust and occasional splashes of water. In addition, its window size is 78 millimeters and the body height is 183 millimeters, all of which have been carefully designed - they are fast and convenient to install. Even if it rains rainstorm every day in tropical areas and the air can wring water out, it can be easily handled to ensure the stable operation of the equipment throughout the year.

It is a circular structure with a secondary terminal short-circuit strip and a transparent sealed terminal cover. The terminal part is well considered and can easily connect wires of 4.0 square millimeters. In addition, the polarity markings are very clear, and the on-site installation is fast and accurate, with almost no mistakes.
This transparent cover is designed to be particularly practical - staff do not need to open the cover, and can easily see the wiring and short-circuit status inside at a glance, making daily inspections particularly convenient. In addition, the protective cover can be sealed with lead, which is equivalent to adding a "safety lock" to the equipment, achieving dual protection against electricity theft.
It can be said that these designs that consider people in every aspect have made the RECT series transformers not only light sensitive, but also efficient in installation, construction, and post maintenance, making people more worry free.
3. Quality assurance

Regarding product testing, we have prepared a complete set of detailed "transcripts", namely test reports and certificates. Key projects such as impact resistance, waterproofing, and temperature cycling have achieved excellent results.
All tests strictly adhere to the international standard IEEE C57.13, including variable ratio, phase angle, insulation resistance, and withstand voltage performance, all of which meet the standards.
Not only that, considering the "special national conditions" of high temperature and humidity in Trinidad and Tobago, we have also specially added a tropical environment simulation test to the testing to verify the long-term stability of the product in that environment. Guess what? Completely able to withstand it! It is to ensure that after the product is shipped, it can work steadily and make customers feel at ease.
3.2 Comprehensive Quality Control System
In terms of quality control, we have established a complete full process traceability system. Each window type transformer that leaves the factory comes with a nameplate that complies with IEEE standards, with clear identification information written at a glance.
During the production process, we strictly implement the three inspection system of "first piece inspection, patrol inspection, and final piece confirmation". Especially the key processes of winding, insulation treatment, and sealing performance are the key areas we focus on, and we dare not be careless at all.
All products must undergo a full 18 strict tests before leaving the factory, including accuracy verification, pressure resistance testing, sealing performance, and so on, with no one missing.
