The HYCA-07-MD Residual Current Monitoring Unit, developed by Wenzhou Heyi Electrical Co., Ltd., is a high-precision and reliable safety monitoring device designed for modern power systems and electric vehicle charging infrastructure. As a critical component for electrical safety, it continuously monitors leakage currents (including both AC and DC components) in systems and promptly disconnects power when hazardous currents are detected, effectively preventing electric shock accidents and electrical fires.

    • Innovative AC/DC hybrid detection technology simultaneously identifies AC residual currents (e.g., 50Hz power frequency leakage) and DC residual currents (e.g., DC leakage from PV systems or EV charging).

    • Supports multiple waveform detections including S-DC (smooth DC), 2PDC (two-phase pulsating DC), and 3PDC (three-phase pulsating DC), fully compliant with IEC 62752 and IEC 62955 standards.

  2. Smart Threshold Management

    • Dynamic threshold technology: Trigger threshold (Iₐₜ) set at 100% of typical tripping value, with recovery threshold (Iₐₓ) at 55%, effectively preventing false triggering due to signal oscillation.

    • Three-level protection: Graded response at 6mA/60mA/200mA, with reaction times optimized from 1000ms (6mA) to 50ms (200mA), balancing safety and power continuity.

  3. Self-Test and Calibration System

    • Integrated patented self-test circuit generates 6.53mADC simulated current via ZCT secondary winding for startup self-check (test cycle ≤400ms).

    • Hardware calibration interface (CAL pin) supports automatic zero-point drift compensation, ensuring long-term measurement accuracy.
